I have a electric organ, just about everything works except the A key on every octave?
I have a "KIMBALL DELUXE SWINGER 300 ELECTRIC ORGAN" with 37 keys on top and the same on the bottom. If anybody can help me out, I'd appreciate it.
most organs of this type use a set of 12 master generators to generate the pitches, on for each note on the keyboard (c, c-sharp, d, d-sharp, etc.) and a set of divider networks to derive the specific pitches for each individual key in each pitch, so one generator for all the C keys, one for each c-sharp, etc. It sounds as tho you have a bad circuit in the generator that supplies all the pitches for the "A" notes...It may be that each generator is tunable (I don't have schematics for that particular instrument) and if so, you may be able to substitute another generator to test this theory. That would be a good starting point...check out the generator, the keying diodes are another place to look, even the output preamplifier circuit that feeds to the volume control and amps.
